Governor Brian P. Kemp and Georgia Department of Labor Commissioner Mark Butler recently announced Georgia’s plan for reemployment and economic recovery.  To address workforce shortages and boost a full economic recovery, state labor officials plan to end Georgia’s participation in federal pandemic unemployment programs, effective Saturday, June 26, 2021.

Vidalia, GA (Saturday, May 3, 2021) — HCA Healthcare’s South Atlantic Division has completed the purchase of Meadows Health in Vidalia, GA.

The hospital will be renamed Memorial Health Meadows Hospital. This connects it to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah and reflects HCA Healthcare’s presence in the region.
