The Greater Vidalia® Center for Rural Entrepreneurship hosted a Ribbon Cutting on October 29th! We are OPEN for business!

We look forward to being a resource for entrepreneurs, small businesses, and the entire community for many years to come!

Stop by if you to need a place to meet with a colleague or work from a laptop during regular business hours. Our common space is available, complete with a coffee bar and vending area.

Oxford Industries recently hosted a construction milestone celebration! Work is progressing nicely at the new Distribution Center site at Toombs Corporate Center at U.S. Highway 1, Lyons. We look forward to attending a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony very soon!

The Toombs County Development Authority, on behalf of Toombs County, is currently accepting pre-applications for low interest funds under the Revolving Loan Program.  Successful applicants will have demonstrated new job creation/retention, private capital investment, and provision of jobs to low and moderate income persons. Funds must be used only in the corporate limits of Toombs County.

Atlanta, GA – Governor Brian P. Kemp today announced that Shinsung Petrochemical (Shinsung), an automotive supplier, will invest $11.2 million in a new manufacturing facility in Toombs County, creating more than 30 new jobs.
