The Greater Vidalia® Workforce Development Strategy project was performed in 2021. Priority 4 - Fully Implement YouScience in the Greater Vidalia® Region is well underway.
All eighth graders in Vidalia City and Toombs County are taking YouScience and have individual interpretation sessions with school counselors prior to selecting their pathway (area of interest) for high school. Next year, high schoolers will likely be targeted, too. The assessment is funded by the Georgia Department of Education.
