On Tuesday, January 12, 2016, Dot Foods, the nation's first and largest food industry redistributor, broke ground on the next chapter of their Georgia Distribution Center. A proud member of the Toombs County community since 1994, Dot is excited to announce the $9.3 million expansion of its current warehouse and office space. The increased capacity resulting from the expansion project will allow for the creation of 54 new jobs.
The local expansion project has been in the works for nearly three years. Construction will commence this month. The expansion should be operational in late fall 2016.
