The Macon Employer Committee and the Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will co-host the "Employers in the Know 2021" business summits.
These summits are designed to provide managers, human resources professionals, business owners, and supervisors with tips for handling management, compliance and operational effectiveness challenges COVID-19 has caused in the 2021 workplace.
This annual event, "Employers in the Know 2021", provides an opportunity to:
- Hear from Commissioner of Labor Mark Butler as he discusses ways to overcome workforce challenges during a pandemic.
- Receive valuable information about Employer Filed Claims from an Unemployment Insurance expert.
- Get information from a Labor Law expert that helps with planning your business policies and actions in this complex legal and regulatory business environment.
- Examine the five biggest trends facing today's workplace, what employers should understand about them and how businesses can take action moving forward.
Virtual summits are scheduled from 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM via Zoom. This event has been pre-approved for five (5) Professional Development Credits under SHRM-HRCI. The cost to register is $40.
