The Toombs County Development Authority recently hosted a retirement reception to collectively reflect on and celebrate the outstanding achievements of two special individuals, Bill Mitchell and Reid Threlkeld. Mr. Mitchell served as President of the Toombs-Montgomery Chamber of Commerce and Executive Director of the Toombs County Development Authority from 1999 until 2017. Mr. Threlkeld served as Legal Counsel of the Toombs County Development Authority from 1990 until 2017. Participants included current and past Authority members, Chamber board reps, local elected officials and various other state & local economic development partners.
